That’s right, you’ll only pay $15 for a private 30-minute lesson with an Opus teacher on any instrument of your choosing and then if you enroll, you’ll get your membership fee waived for your first year - you’ll save $35!

We are excited to announce that the Opus Spring Recital has been set for Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Hacienda Heights Community Center!
Our recitals are open to any active Opus student regardless of age, skill level or instrument and we highly encourage all students to participate in this exciting school-wide performance opportunity! We highly encourage all students to take part in this recital to not only help them become a better musician, but to show off the music skills they have learned, help develop confidence, and allow friends and family to support our young musicians!
Stay tuned in our future newsletter for the registration link to reserve a performance spot for the recital. In the meantime, students are encouraged to begin thinking about what piece they would like to play for the recital, and begin working on it with their teacher!

Student Spotlight: Joaquin S.
This month’s student spotlight is on 14 year old Joaquin S., a piano student at Opus of Mr. David’s. His goal with learning music is to learn how to play popular music, and has definitely done that at Opus with his current favorite piece being “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” While sometimes timing and music rhythms is challenging, his focused practice has helped him overcome these to become a better pianist!
