Description
This online group piano class for children ages 5-7 years old uses the My First Piano Adventures curriculum. This is a live interactive class with students able to video chat with the teachers and students in real time. In the class, students will learn directional pre-reading, elementary music theory and technique with engaging songs, games and creative discovery at the keyboard. This is a fun online class that will keep kids engaged through animated online activities and virtual piano games.
Young students will enjoy the multi-cultural "friends" at the piano who introduce white-key names, basic rhythms, and a variety of songs which span classical, folk, and blues. Ear-training and eye-training are also part of the curriculum.
We'll give you instructions on how to get set up to join online via the free Zoom app. Once we receive your registration, we will mail you 2 textbooks that will be needed for the class.
