We're so excited to announce that we are taking our student's big talents to the "Big Apple" to perform in one of the most famous concert venues in the world - Carnegie Hall in New York City!
Interested? Registration will open on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at 9am at opusmusicschool.com/summer for active Opus students. Now Enrolling - Pop Stars Mini Band Class
Our Opus Pop Stars Bronze Band “The Rainbow Rockers” made their big debut after months of group music classes at the first ever Opus Music Festival this past September!
What is Opus Pop Stars Band Class?
An in-person beginner level band program where kids can rotate among 4 instruments: piano, singing, guitar, and drums. Learn to play pop songs using a fun and color coded curriculum. Kids have fun playing with their peers, playing songs they know and like. The curriculum includes animated music games and interactive activities to make this class fun.
Enrollment is now OPEN for our new class starting on January 4, 2022.
Ages: 5-7 years old
Instruments: Piano, guitar, singing, and drums (rotate among all 4)
Class Size: 5 students max in-person at Opus Music School
Class Dates: Tuesdays at 5:00-5:45pm starting January 4, 2022
Seeking Talented Students for Pop Stars Auditions
For our students who are looking to jam out with fellow passionate musicians their own age, auditions are being held for the following groups:
Pop Stars Gold Band (intermediate students age 9+)
Pop Stars Platinum Band (advanced students age 12+)
Instruments include: piano, voice, guitar, drums, and bass. Being accepted to these elite musical groups provides exclusive learning, performing, and recording opportunities for students!
Auditions are being accepted now through pre-recorded videos on our website and the deadline to submit yours is Wednesday, January 5th, 2022! If you're ready to be a Pop Star, check out the link below for all the details!

Opus 2021 Recap & Winter Break Reminder
Opus Music School will be closed for Winter Break the following dates:
Tuesday, December 21, 2021 to Sunday, January, 2022
2021 has been wild but incredible for Opus Music School, from transitioning from online lessons to opening back our school up for in-person lessons. We'd like to give a big thank you from all us here at Opus Music School for making our reopening such a major success.
We've had some special music performances this year, including the March Madness online music contest and producing the 1st music festival ever for kids called Opus Music Festival. We have an exciting year ahead with Opus Summer Tour coming back and several plans in store to make 2022 the best year ever for Opus Music School.
We'd like to issue a friendly reminder with our upcoming closure that school breaks have already been accounted for in your monthly tuition. Our calendar is based on a 48 week calendar and the monthly tuition has already been pro-rated to reflect the 4 weeks a year we are closed for holidays. In most months you will get 4 lessons, but in certain months you will get 5 lessons, and in certain months you will get 3 lessons. In the long run you are guaranteed 48 lessons per year. So there are no makeup lessons for holidays.

1. What do you like the most about taking music lessons at Opus Music School?
Everyone is super nice and my sister takes lessons there too.
2. What do you like the most about your teacher?
She teaches me new songs all the time.
3. What is your favorite piece to play and why?
I like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” because it makes me feel happy when I play it.
4. What challenges have you faced when learning music and how did you overcome it?
The hardest thing is remembering to practice my new songs, but my sister helps me sometimes.
5. What is your goal with music?
I like piano because it’s really fun and maybe I can learn to play the flute one day too.
6. What makes you unique? What are some of your other interests?
I like unicorns, My Little Pony, and I like reading.
