Opus Music Festival Coming Soon! Auditions Now Open!
To celebrate YOU, our Opus students, and our official grand reopening, the Opus Music Festival is coming this Fall to Hacienda Heights! This outdoor youth music concert and carnival-themed community event is open to the public and features student performers of Opus Music School, carnival games, entertainment performers, community and food vendors, local sponsors, and more.
Event: Opus Music Festival 2021
Tentative Date: Saturday, September 25, 2021
Location: Hacienda Heights, exact location TBA
Audition Videos Due: Sunday, July 11, 2021
Now we are just seeking a lineup of our talented students to headline and perform at our festival! Active Opus students are invited to submit a video audition of them playing the song or piece they'd like to play up on our festival stage! The lineup of performers is going to be determined by our panel of judges (including a super exciting guest judge who is a real professional musician!) based off of your video auditions. Videos must be 5 minutes or less in length and you can upload it on our website's festival page any time before Sunday, 7/11/21 at 11:59pm.
There are 40 performance slots available, with 30 opening acts and 10 headliner acts closing out this amazing day! Our panel of judges will be reviewing all videos and we will release the official lineup in late July. Make sure to follow our festival Instagram page for all updates and reveals about the festival!
We can't wait to see all of our student's show-stopping auditions and see the official lineup! This is sure to be a can't miss event, plus a great way for students to showcase all they've been learning in their lessons in front of their family and friends.

If your teacher is already teaching in-person on the day of your lesson and you would like to start coming in for your lessons, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can make sure everything is ready for you to have a great lesson! On the flip side, if you're scheduled to come in-person for your lesson and you need to go virtual for any reason at all, just let us know so we can provide you with your teacher's Zoom information.
For New/Non-Active Students:
We are still experiencing very high demand for new and returning students to enroll for in-person lessons and we're so excited to get to meet all our new students as soon as we can! If you're already on our waiting list we'd like to thank you so much for your patience as we work to accommodate everyone. We are working hard each day to reach out to as many students as possible however the estimated wait time for most in-person lessons will be about 4-6 weeks at this time. If you have not already joined our wait list we are still accepting new signups as well!
If you are ready to get yourself or your child started with lessons as soon as possible there is no wait time at all to sign up for online lessons! You can self-book an online trial here or contact our office staff for additional information.
